Raymond "Butch" Feher

CHAIRMAN

Butch Feher has been around success since his early days living in Northern Michigan. It is no surprise that his work ethic and infectious personality played a direct role in contributing to his success. Butch's early basketball talents led him to Vanderbilt on a full scholarship. He became an All-American and then played professionally for the Phoenix Suns.

The same principles that generated success in Butch’s athletic career led to his success in business. Understanding team environments, listening to his customers, and applying a relentless work ethic enabled Butch to deliver on his customers’ needs. These are just a few of his leadership attributes in his 30 plus years of successfully growing his business.

As the Chairman for Merchaneer, Butch’s role, is focused on setting the strategy and policies of the company, developing leadership, and meeting shareholder's commitments. Butch brings an international business presence and executive leadership experience in operations, technology, talent management, and governance. In addition, his 30-year career in business provides him with expertise in key customer segments for the Company.

Clint Feher

PRESIDENT

Clint Feher sets the daily sales and marketing strategies that strengthen Merchaneer’s position as a merchant processing company. Drawing on more than 15 years of retail experience, including leadership roles with globally recognized food, beverage and restaurant brands.

Clint also founded FTH Marketing, where he oversees brand marketing, digital ecosystem, public relations, social media, marketing communications and advertising, as well as the company’s sales force and consumer experience.

Clint works collaboratively across the company and with regional teams to leverage data-driven insights to develop creative sales and marketing programs that increase sales, value and differentiation across many markets.

Casey Smith

Chief Business Officer-Partner

Casey is a partner and the Chief Business Officer at Merchaneer. 

A trusted advisor to the President and Board. Casey is known for developing strategies that led to market share and profitability gains. Casey's experience is based on a career of leadership, relationships, and leading sales. 

Steven Heselius

COO

Steven is a 30-year hospitality industry veteran as an executive and consultant with a focus on technology solutions, operations efficiency, organization strategy and large project management,  He has held several key positions with global brands like Hard Rock International in their hotel and casino division, Cloud 5 Communications leading the technology operations and implementation department, and Ginn Clubs & Resorts a land development/hospitality group as it grew from a start-up real estate company to a developer of high-end residential club & resort communities. In these roles he managed, developed and implemented standards for Hospitality Technology, Enterprise Technology,  Data Governance Processes, Security & Regulatory Compliance,  Telecommunications Operations and related Service Support Operations.

He has contributed to more than 40 domestic and international startup ventures. He has engaged in the start-up, expansion or reorganization of multiple business  ranging from technology service providers, real estate and land development to hotel and resort design, development and operations.  He has spent several years in the international market supporting companies and entrepreneurs in South America, the Caribbean, Balkans, Middle East and Asia.

After spending 10 years in the restaurant industry at two restaurants as a General Manager, I brought everything I learned about exceptional guest service, flawless operations and relationship building to the merchant services industry. Now, over a decade into my career in merchant services in multiple roles at multiple companies has culminated in my position with Merchaneer. In an ever-changing payments landscape, I work directly with merchants to find them the best forward-thinking payment solution for their business.
